Hey Reader, Feedback on the original No-BS OKRs workshop has yielded an unexpected recurring theme: "People who know nothing about OKRs need to hear about this." It got me to thinking about the questions friends and family ask, curiously, as they've watched my career evolve. The two most frequent are some variation of: "WTF are OKRs?" and "Why the *bleep* are you so far down this rabbithole?" If you're reading this, you're probably already down the rabbithole with me 😂 ... But I decided this week to tackle those questions exactly how they're often asked. With the WTF are OKRs Guide launching today, I pulled together an excerpt from the upcoming No-BS OKRs Workbook to try to fill a gap:
The worksheets and one-sheets are only available in the download (until the Workbook goes live, later this month).
So snag a copy if you need a basics guide to share with an OKR-skeptic or newbie (or, if those one-pagers sound helpful) ... and IF you don't mind the suggestion of profanity 😂 I'd love your help getting the word out to your social networks. You can share today's launch post via social media: With updates via Mastodon and Threads coming soon (and I'm doing YouTube videos and shorts for this one too). Something like this can use all the positive engagement it can get, so I really appreciate your 💕s on this one if you are so inclined. Either way, thank you -- no newsletter tomorrow since I'm hitting send early this week ... have a wonderful, restorative weekend, and see you next week! |
