Hi Reader, Yesterday, I (nearly) finished up my revisions for my book and shipped it back to my editor. I have one chapter left to write, a glossary to finish, and then it's into final edit! So what better day than today to share the cover art with you: In 2021 I started writing down my practices around creating No-BS Objectives and Key Results so that I could more systematically iterate, improve, and teach them to others. That labor -- and a lot of hyperfocus, sweat, tears, and support from YOU -- has yielded two books making their print debut this fall, in time for the 2025 annual reset cycle. I'll keep you posted on both books' progress, and if you'd like to support my efforts to get the word out about the books in the run-up to their release, 🎉 I'd love to have you on the pre-launch squad -- click here and I'll add you to the list! A huge thank you for the support that helped me get both books to where they are... now, we're in the home stretch! In other news this week...Last week's Free, Live, No-BS OKR Coaching Sessions went so great I'm doing it again this week. 👉 RSVP for this week's free, live, No-BS OKR Coaching sessions via LinkedIn here and drop me a reply if you'd like to guarantee a slot as a "client..." last time I took volunteers live on the call, and expect to again this week! But if you want to make sure you get a slot, please let me know and I'll invite you to join via the presenter link instead of the public link. I can't wait to work with you in the upcoming Coaching No-BS OKRs workshop. These things are always more fun with a friend: feel free to pass along word to colleagues or contacts who might be interested that I've extended the early-bird sign-up window through July 31st (tomorrow). Let them know: now is the time to apply! As always, thank you for the support, encouragement, and your fearlessness sharing your vision and goal-setting with me. I hope to see you on this week's Live, and I appreciate you helping get the word out! P.S. IF you're a social amplifier type, here are links to the book cover reveal announcements and your engagement and shares help a ton in getting this news in front of more people! Thank you in advance! |
I help changemaker leaders, teams, and other Thinkydoers understand their strengths, increase their quantifiable impact, and become fulfilled in their careers (without masking or mind-reading). My "how?" Accessible, efficient approaches to strategy creation, alignment, and operationalizing for goal achievement, with a special focus on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). The approaches I coach and teach today build on well-honed expertise leading adult learning, instructional design, marketing, creative strategy and strategic operations at some of the world’s largest enterprises, and in public sector and political roles. In my individual coaching work via Thinkydoers, I help people who are "wired differently" (or otherwise "not from Leadership Central Casting") build authentic, rewarding careers as the leaders of change our world needs today. When not working with Red Currant Collective, my "other life" is in professional motorcycle racing. 🏍️
Hi Reader, Ever been told you’re “too analytical” or that you “overcomplicate things?" Or the flip side -- have you heard or thought: "You/I need to be more strategic." You may also be a leader who's given that feedback... or, heard in your employee surveys that people don't know what's expected of them, or how their work aligns to your strategy. "Does my work even matter?" is a red-flag question for leaders and staffers alike. In today’s Thinkydoers episode, I’m sharing a live reading of the...
Hey Reader, You know that feeling when you can see exactly how things could work better, but turning those insights into reality feels like pushing a boulder uphill? I’ve spent years developing frameworks that help people like us—the deep thinkers, the square pegs, the ones who see patterns others miss—transform our strategic vision into measurable impact. Previously, those frameworks have been available to my corporate clients and a small number of invited individual participants. For the...
Hi Reader, For some of you reading, this week may be business as usual. For the rest of us, this week in American politics marks a significant shift in the landscape we operate in. You may be reeling with fear or uncertainty about the implications for your life and work. Frankly, I'm in the second camp. To be prepared for any outcome, I'd architected two different business plans for the last several months: One based on business as usual, And another based on the potential for significant...
